The next step in my illustration process is to add colour to my drawings. I used the colour drop feature in Procreate to fill larger areas within my linework quickly. I used a fine-line brush to cover the smaller sections to ensure everything was coloured around the edges.
Afterwards, I focused on adding shadows and outlines around my linework; I did this by merging my base colour layers and using a clipping mask, allowing me to draw over the edges of the body to draw in the shadows without worrying I’m going over the edges. This enhances the depth and dimension of my artwork, making it more visually engaging.

Using my final illustrations, I will enhance the backgrounds and create a practical layout for the Christmas tags at the illustration fair. My goal is to integrate the artwork with the product display to ensure each element complements the others while also attracting attention. This careful arrangement will showcase the strengths of the illustrations and the products, creating a visually appealing experience for attendees.
